Extra info | George Lawrence Starke (born July 18, 1948) is a former American football offensive lineman who played for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League (NFL) from 1972-84. In 1989, Starke founded a beer company called "Head Hog Premium Beer" that sold beer within the historic Redskins broadcast footprint, which extended from Delaware in the north to Georgia in the south. That company evolved into "Head Hog BBQ Restaurants" in Bethesda, Maryland and Rockville, Maryland. The beer was Sold in the Capital Beltway limited market area during the Redskins' domination of the NFL in the early 90's.
