| | | | | | Extra info | Outside the center of the city of Viersen, there was already a brewery in 1854. This brewery was bought by Anton Lohbusch in 1869 and in 1893 the name of the brewery was changed to Lohbusch Bräu. In 1964, the brewery was taken over by the brothers Leopold. Brewing stopped in 1970 but the building was used as a distribution center unti 1993. In the 2020s, the Lohbusch brand was revived by brewers, brewers Florian Ackens and Jan-Philipp Eccher. |
