As the Spanish Civil War came to an end and World War II began to take hold, a group of Canarian entrepreneurs headed by Maximino Acea Perdomo founded in Santa Cruz de Tenerife the The first beer company on the island. Its first name was CERCASA (Compañía Cervecera de Canarias).
In 1948 the first beer is bottled and first name used was CCC.
It was not until the sixties when the beer took its current name: Dorada. In addition, in the seventies, a new and modern factory took over the original from the forties, contributing to the growing expansion of the brand and the new demands of consumers.
In the 1980s, Cervecera de Canarias entered the shareholding of Cervezas de Tenerife, SA, manufacturer of the Mas brand, gaining control of it through an improper merger process in 1993.
The company was purchased by the German company, Schickedanz in the 1990s and began distributing Löwenbräu. In 1994 it merged with the Sociedad Industrial Canaria (Sical) based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which traced it roots back to the La Tropical brewery founded in 1924.
