| | | | | | | Extra info | Wine-Dip had its origin in 1924 in Tony's Pharmacy, 118 East Reed street, Moberly, MO and was soon handled by 20,000 dealers. Anthony Fiorita, originator and copyright holder of Wine-Dip, gave up his drug business, and devoted all of his time to the manufacture and sale of the drink. In 1927, he moved to 106 South Clark street, where he was able to produce the liquid in large quantities. Mr. Fiorita first manufactured his drink for use in the local trade only, but as the name spread into the surrounding territory, he increased his operations to handle the new demand. Eventually, Wine-Dip had a wide distribution over the Middle West. During 1928, 25,000, gallons of the fluid were shipped out of Moberly to all of the central states. |
